Engage Education is currently working with a welcoming and supportive SEN school in North Manchester that is seeking an enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join their team from October 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and wants to make a meaningful difference to their learning, development and wellbeing.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet a range of individual needs.

• Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.

• Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.

• Work closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff and the wider school team.

• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching accordingly.

• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and their families.

• Contribute to the wider life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has experience working within a primary school setting.

• Has a genuine interest in working with children with SEN.

• Is patient, adaptable and nurturing in their approach.

• Can differentiate effectively to meet individual learning needs.

• Has strong communication and classroom management skills.

• Is committed to helping every pupil achieve their potential.

Experience working in an SEN setting is desirable but not essential — we are also keen to hear from primary teachers who are looking to develop their experience within specialist education.
