Job Title: Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher

Salary: £172.98 per day* subject to change in September

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large and well-established Primary School in Caerphilly that is looking to appoint a Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher for September. The school is a vibrant and busy setting with a supportive leadership team, a strong community ethos, and a commitment to providing high-quality Welsh-medium education for all learners.

The school is looking to take on a full-time Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The successful Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher will be teaching Key Stage 2 / KS2 pupils, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations for behaviour, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential within this fast-paced school environment.

The successful Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (NQTs are also encouraged to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Fluency in Welsh and the ability to teach through the medium of Welsh
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Experience managing challenging behaviour positively and effectively
• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
