Primary Teaching Assistant (General Classroom & 1:1 SEND Support) BOSTON
Location: Boston, Lincolnshire
Start Date: September 2026
Pay: £105-£110 per day
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Contract: Long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? Aspire People is recruiting enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to work in a welcoming primary school in Boston from September.
This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work either as a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant, supporting children with additional needs, or as a General Classroom Teaching Assistant, helping to create an engaging and positive learning environment for all pupils.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
* Provide 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), following individual learning and support plans where required.
* Assist with whole-class activities and provide small-group interventions.
* Encourage pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
* Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
* Monitor pupil progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff.
* Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support successful learning outcomes.
We Are Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates with a variety of backgrounds, including:
* Teaching Assistants with previous school experience.
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualified candidates.
* Recent Teaching Assistant course graduates looking to gain classroom experience.
* Care workers or support workers with experience supporting vulnerable children, young people, or adults.
* Graduates considering a future career in education.
* Anyone with transferable skills and a genuine passion for supporting children.
