Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - Mansfield Area in Mansfield

Protocol Education is seeking caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across a range of welcoming primary schools in the Mansfield area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Assist children with a range of SEN, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language needs, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
• Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
• Help implement strategies and interventions to encourage engagement and progress.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to provide the best possible support.

• Experience working with children or young people with additional needs is desirable.
• A patient, nurturing, and positive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
