About the Role

Abbey Multi Academy Trust is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and adaptable Primary Teachers to join our pool of supply staff for both day-to-day and long-term teaching opportunities across our family of schools.

Whether you are looking for the flexibility of day-to-day supply or the stability of a longer-term placement, this is an excellent opportunity to work within a Trust that is committed to providing high-quality education and ensuring every child reaches their full potential.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work across any of our primary schools, including:

  • Holy Trinity C of E Primary Academy
  • Christ Church Upper Armley CE Primary School
  • Manston St James C of E Primary Academy
  • St Chad’s C of E Primary School

You may teach across a range of year groups, delivering engaging lessons, fostering positive learning environments, and supporting pupils to achieve excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the primary curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver lessons for long-term placements, or deliver pre-prepared lessons for day-to-day cover.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning in line with school policies.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on pupil progress where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and school leaders.
  • Adapt confidently to different year groups, classrooms, and school settings.
We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible, proactive, and professional approach.
  • A passion for inspiring children and helping every pupil succeed.
