Primary Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Years or KS1 Teacher to join a brand-new SEN satellite provision for pupils with ASD in Esher.

This is an exciting opportunity for a primary teacher looking to develop their SEN experience and become part of a growing, supportive team. We have recruited a fantastic team over the last nine months and are looking to grow substantially by the end of the year, creating excellent opportunities for career progression.

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.

• Support pupils with ASD and additional needs to make academic, social and emotional progress.

• Adapt teaching and communication to meet individual needs.

• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.

• Work closely with teaching assistants and the wider SEN team.

• Contribute to a positive, calm and inclusive learning environment.

• Qualified Primary Teacher with EYFS or KS1 experience.

• A genuine interest in SEN and working with pupils with ASD.

• Patient, nurturing and adaptable.

• A strong team player with a positive attitude.

• Someone keen to learn, develop and progress within SEN education.

SEN/ASD experience is desirable but not essential - the right attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
