About the Role
We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Brent (NW2) on a part-time or short-term contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an adaptable teacher who is confident delivering high-quality lessons across all primary year groups.
The successful candidate will be passionate about creating engaging learning experiences, maintaining high expectations, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Whether covering planned absences or supporting the school during a fixed-term period, you will play an important role in ensuring pupils continue to receive an excellent education.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, as required.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs and abilities of pupils across different year groups.
- Establish a positive and purposeful learning environment using effective behaviour management strategies.
- Assess, monitor and provide constructive feedback to support pupil progress.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents to promote a supportive school community.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning and uphold high teaching standards.
- Maintain accurate records in line with school policies and procedures.
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and the school's values at all times.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school across a range of year groups is desirable.
- Confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with the flexibility to adapt to different classes.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to implement positive behaviour management techniques effectively.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach to teaching.
