Prospero Teaching are looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a supportive mainstream primary school in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and is committed to helping pupils develop academically, socially and personally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, managing the classroom effectively and creating a positive environment where all pupils feel supported and encouraged to achieve their potential. You will work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents/carers to ensure pupils receive high-quality education and appropriate support.
Key responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons
- Differentiating learning to meet a range of abilities and needs
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining positive routines
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
- Creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Building positive relationships with pupils and encouraging their confidence
- Working collaboratively with TAs and other school staff
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Communicating effectively with parents/carers where required
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
Ideal candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching within a primary school
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Able to differentiate effectively for different abilities
- Patient, enthusiastic and approachable
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's education and development
This role would suit an experienced Primary Teacher or an ECT looking for a supportive school environment and the opportunity to develop their teaching career.
