Primary Teachers - Downham Market & Beyond

Are you a Qualified Primary Teacher searching for a better work-life balance? Whether you love the complete freedom of day-to-day cover or prefer the predictability of a long-term contract, we have rewarding local roles designed around you.

We are currently working with several fantastic primary schools, infant settings, and academies across Downham Market and the surrounding West Norfolk / Cambridgeshire borders. We need proactive, enthusiastic teachers to support these wonderful school communities.

Whether you are a seasoned educator looking to step away from the administrative burdens of permanent classroom ownership, or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) aiming to sharpen your skills across different key stages, we can help you build your ideal timetable.

Choose How You Work:

  • Daily Supply Support: Take full control of your working week. Pick and choose exactly when and where you teach. Step in to deliver pre-prepared lessons, focus entirely on the children, and head home without any take-home marking, planning, or data tracking.

  • Long-Term Placements: If you prefer consistency, we have regular fixed-term positions lasting a term or a full school year (covering maternity, extended absences, or interim vacancies). It's an ideal way to weave yourself into a local school community and guide your students' progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum frameworks (across EYFS, KS1, or KS2).

  • A positive, nurturing approach to classroom management and pupil engagement.

  • An adaptable mindset, ready to hit the ground running and integrate smoothly into new staff groups.

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one).

What's in it for You?

  • Excellent daily pay rates, handled transparently and paid to you weekly.

  • A simple, flexible booking process that works completely around your personal life and availability.

  • Free access to specialist CPD and safeguarding updates to support your ongoing professional development.

  • Guidance from an expert local consultant with a deep understanding of the West Norfolk and Cambridgeshire education markets.
