Reeson Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in the M34 area. This part-time, long-term Primary Teacher role will begin in September 2026 and continue for the full academic year, teaching a Lower KS2 class for 2 days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Primary Teacher who is looking for a consistent part-time role within a supportive and well-established primary school. QTS is essential for this Primary Teacher position.

Primary Teacher - What You'll Be Doing

  • Teaching a Lower KS2 class as a part-time Primary Teacher for 2 days per week
  • Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can succeed
  • Supporting pupils of varying abilities to make strong academic progress
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress effectively
  • Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff to meet individual learning needs
  • Promoting positive behaviour and high expectations within the classroom
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school as a committed Primary Teacher
  • Working collaboratively with the Lower KS2 team and senior leadership

Primary Teacher - What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Recent experience teaching within KS2 in a UK primary school
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and Lower KS2 expectations
  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to differentiate learning to support a range of abilities and needs
  • Enthusiastic, organised and committed Primary Teacher
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability for a 2-day-per-week role for the full school year
