This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher who enjoys working across different year groups and wants the freedom to choose when they work. Whether you are an experienced Primary Teacher, an ECT looking to build experience, or returning to teaching, we would love to hear from you.

As a Primary Teacher on daily supply, you could be working across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on the school's requirements and your experience.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
• Following existing lesson plans and school schemes of work
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Supporting pupils' learning and maintaining high expectations
• Adapting teaching to meet different abilities and needs
• Providing a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with support staff and other Primary Teachers
• Taking on short-term teaching assignments that could potentially develop into longer-term opportunities

The ideal Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS - essential
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Flexibility to teach across different year groups
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A confident, adaptable and professional approach
• A genuine passion for primary education
• The ability to quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff

Daily supply gives you the flexibility to work around your own commitments while gaining experience across a variety of Haringey primary schools. It can also be a fantastic way to get your foot in the door of a school, with daily supply opportunities often leading to longer-term teaching positions when the right vacancy becomes available.
