Year 1 Teacher - Tottenham | Full-Time Maternity Cover | Start Date: ASAP

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Tottenham is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their KS1 team on a full-time maternity cover basis starting as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to become part of a positive school community with strong leadership, excellent support staff, and a nurturing learning environment where every child is encouraged to succeed academically and socially.

As the Year 1 Teacher, you will:

• Take full responsibility for a Year 1 class
• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Monitor and assess pupil progress to support attainment and development
• Create a structured, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and senior leaders

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Have previous experience teaching within KS1, ideally Year 1
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be organised, reliable, and passionate about primary education
• Have the ability to inspire and motivate young learners
