You will teach a small class of primary-aged pupils with a range of additional learning needs, delivering engaging and personalised lessons that enable every child to achieve their potential.
Working alongside experienced Teaching Assistants and a multidisciplinary team, you will support pupils' academic, social and emotional development within a nurturing and structured environment.
This is a highly rewarding role where you'll have the time to focus on teaching, build positive relationships and celebrate every achievement.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons.
- Adapt teaching to meet individual EHCP outcomes.
- Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, parents and external professionals.
- Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and assessments.
- Encourage confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.

- Qualified Primary Teachers (QTS).
- Experienced SEND Teachers.
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
- Mainstream primary teachers looking to transition into specialist education.
- Teachers with experience across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
Previous experience within a specialist SEND school is desirable but not essential. If you're an excellent teacher with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs, we'd love to hear from you.
Essential Requirements- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A caring, patient and adaptable approach.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one before starting).
