Supply Desk is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Kings Langley. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and motivate pupils, delivering engaging lessons that encourage academic achievement, confidence and a lifelong love of learning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils are encouraged to reach their full potential. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to ensure high standards of teaching and learning are maintained.
Key Duties:
• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports the needs of all pupils.
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, using assessment data to inform future planning.
• Establish positive behaviour expectations and maintain effective classroom management.
• Foster pupils' academic, social and emotional development through high-quality teaching.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share best practice across the school.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on pupil progress.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including staff meetings, school events and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
• Ensure safeguarding and the welfare of all pupils remain a priority at all times.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, or the confidence and knowledge to do so effectively.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and achieving positive outcomes for all learners.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A thorough understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
