Location: Barnet, London
Salary: £40,372–£59,864 per annum (M1–UPS3), dependent on experience and qualifications
Contract: Full-time, Long-term Temporary
Start: September 2026 – immediate/as soon as possible

Teach Now is recruiting a motivated KS2 Teacher for a long-term opportunity within a supportive Barnet primary school.

You will take responsibility for a KS2 class and play an important role in helping pupils strengthen their academic skills, independence and confidence as learners.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Support strong progress in reading, writing and mathematics.
  • Use assessment effectively to identify gaps and next steps.
  • Differentiate learning for pupils with varying needs.
  • Maintain clear routines and high expectations for behaviour.
  • Work effectively with Teaching Assistants and other colleagues.
We are looking for
  • UK QTS.
  • KS2 teaching or placement experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Confident behaviour management.
  • A positive and engaging classroom presence.

Both experienced teachers and ECTs with strong KS2 experience are encouraged to apply.
