Primary Teacher

Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester
Position: Year 1 Class Teacher
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: September 2026 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated Year 1 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wythenshawe. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to providing engaging learning experiences and helping every child reach their full potential.

As our Year 1 Class Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire a love of learning.

• Create a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Support pupils as they transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage into Key Stage 1.

• Monitor, assess, and celebrate children's progress.

• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.

• Contribute to the wider life of the school.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Has a secure understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.

• Is passionate about helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

• Works well as part of a collaborative and supportive team.

• A friendly and welcoming school community.

• Well-behaved, enthusiastic pupils who enjoy learning.

• A supportive leadership team committed to staff wellbeing.
