TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream junior school in Long Eaton that is looking to appoint a Primary Teacher from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT to join a positive school environment, build strong relationships with pupils and become a valued member of the wider school team.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026 until July 2027. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for a Year 4 class and will undertake full teacher responsibilities, including planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessment, marking, classroom management and supporting pupils to make strong progress.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS, with ECTs encouraged to apply
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
• Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Strong classroom management skills
• Confidence in planning, assessment and delivering engaging lessons
• A positive, enthusiastic and committed approach to teaching
