Salary: £150 - £250 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a lovely two-form entry community Primary School based in Wythenshawe, which has been awarded a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating. The school offers a welcoming and supportive environment and is committed to providing its pupils with a positive and engaging education.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teacher to teach a Year 1 class on a full-time, long-term basis from October, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum, with experience of managing preparation for the Phonics Screening Check considered an advantage.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching within a UK Primary School
• Sound knowledge of the Key Stage 1 / KS1 curriculum
• Experience supporting or managing Phonics Screening Check preparation would be an advantage
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A positive and engaging approach to teaching and learning
