Pay: Teachers' Pay Scale (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with welcoming and supportive primary schools across the Vale of Glamorgan to recruit enthusiastic Primary Teachers for full-time, long-term positions starting in September 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that support pupils' progress while creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure high standards of teaching and learning, while contributing to the wider life of the school.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or be willing to register before starting.
  • Have a genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Be adaptable, enthusiastic and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.
  • Have a good understanding of the Curriculum for Wales.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Current EWC registration.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

If you do not currently hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or EWC registration, Teaching Personnel can support you with the application process (fees apply).
