Primary Teacher (Yr4/5)

Strategy Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Year 4 Teacher to join a high-achieving independent preparatory school in Kingston Upon Thames. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, running through to the end of the current academic year.

The school has very high academic and pastoral standards and is looking for a dedicated and inspiring teacher who can quickly establish high expectations and make a positive contribution to school life.

The Role

As a Year 4  and/or 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress and creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Proven experience teaching Year 4 and/or Year 5 within the UK.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
• High expectations of pupil achievement, behaviour and presentation.
• A commitment to delivering consistently high-quality teaching and learning.
• Experience within the independent school sector is desirable but not essential.
• Able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Available for a full-time role through to the end of the academic year.
