 Experienced Primary Teaching Assistant – SEND Experience Essential 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to work in a school in the Rushton area, supporting pupils across different primary year groups.

This is a part-time position, 4 days per week, with an ASAP start available.

Days: 4 days per week
Hours: Part-time
Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for a caring, patient and experienced Teaching Assistant with strong SEND experience who is confident supporting children with a range of additional needs.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience working as a Primary Teaching Assistant

• Have strong SEND experience and be confident supporting pupils with additional needs

• Have experience working across different primary year groups

• Be able to provide effective 1:1 and small-group support

• Be patient, nurturing and encouraging

• Have a good understanding of supporting children’s social, emotional and educational development

• Work well alongside teachers and other support staff

• Be reliable, adaptable and committed to making a positive difference

This is a great opportunity for an experienced TA who is passionate about supporting children with SEND and is looking for a new part-time role with an immediate start.
