Key Responsibilities

• Support class teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons and classroom activities.

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to primary-aged pupils.

• Assist children with literacy, numeracy and general learning development.

• Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including autism (ASC), ADHD and additional learning needs.

• Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.

• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.

• Support pupils with social, emotional and communication development.

• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and other school staff.

• Follow school safeguarding policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare, Care, Sports Coaches etc.

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.

• A genuine passion for supporting children's education and development.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A patient, caring and proactive approach.

• Confidence supporting pupils with a range of learning abilities and additional needs.

• Reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude.
