A leading engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join its growing Scotland team.
This is an excellent opportunity to take a leading role on complex, high-profile projects across healthcare, education, data centres, critical infrastructure, commercial, residential and technology sectors.
The Role
You'll lead the electrical design delivery on significant projects, taking ownership from inception through to completion while managing internal teams, clients and external consultants.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading electrical design delivery on complex projects.
- Managing and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
- Developing design briefs and managing client relationships.
- Representing the business at client and project meetings.
- Reviewing and overseeing technical work and developing junior engineers.
- Managing project costs, resources and commercial risks.
- Ensuring projects are delivered to a high technical and quality standard.
- Supporting business development and future client opportunities.
About You
You'll ideally be Chartered or professionally qualified, with strong experience in electrical/building services design and a proven track record leading complex projects.
You'll also have strong client-facing and leadership skills, commercial awareness, excellent communication abilities and experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux and OM Electrical.
