I'm representing an ambitious, fully remote MEP consultancy looking for an exceptional Principal Electrical Engineer to lead its electrical engineering delivery across a growing portfolio of high-rise residential and major developments.
This is much more than a design position. You'll be the person driving electrical engineering standards, providing technical leadership and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
THE ROLE - YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, YOUR INFLUENCE
You'll take the lead across multiple live projects, overseeing electrical design from concept through to construction.
- Lead and inspire a team of electrical engineers, providing technical direction and mentoring.
- Take ownership of electrical design, calculations, specifications, schematics and layouts.
- Drive Stage 4 and 5 technical delivery and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Become the key technical contact for clients, architects and contractors.
- Review, challenge and approve designs, ensuring compliance and quality.
- Play a pivotal role in delivering complex high-rise residential developments.
We're interested in an established Principal or an ambitious Senior Electrical Engineer ready to take that next step.
You'll bring:
- Strong building services consultancy experience.
- A solid portfolio of residential and high-rise developments.
- Excellent knowledge of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and life safety systems.
- Proven Stage 4/5 design and coordination experience.
- The confidence to lead engineers, manage clients and take responsibility.
- A genuine passion for technical excellence.
