This international practice with great reach across the multidisciplinary consultancy field is seeking to appoint a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join their established Birmingham office.  They offer a rare opportunity to lead and influence the growth and direction of their thriving geotechnical team.

Your appointment will involve working and directing a sizeable team of geotechnical engineers whilst delivering a wide range of projects.

The key focus will include:
• Delivering ground investigations and geotechnical designs
• Producing clear, high-quality interpretive reports
• Designing geotechnical structures including foundations, earthworks, slopes and retaining structures.

This role is seen a key one within the organisation and will be a hugely important to the growth of the office.

For your part you will be an experienced geotechnical engineer with strong UK consultancy experience and a passion for delivering high-quality work.  Key to this is experience designing a range of geotechnical structures with strong ground modelling and interpretative reporting skills.  A graduate in civil engineering or geotechnical engineering and working towards Chartership.
