Role

As a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in leading projects from concept through to completion, managing client relationships, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the strategic growth of the structural team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design and delivery of structural engineering projects
  • Managing project programmes, budgets, and resources
  • Producing and reviewing structural calculations, reports, and drawings
  • Working closely with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Mentoring and developing junior engineers and technicians
  • Supporting business development activities and helping to grow client relationships
  • Ensuring projects are delivered to the highest technical and quality standards
About you

We are keen to hear from engineers who possess:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Extensive experience within a structural engineering consultancy environment
  • Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber design
  • Experience leading projects and managing client relationships
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Chartered status (MIStructE or MICE) or working towards chartership
  • A proactive and commercially aware approach
