Print Finisher - temporary

We are seeking an experienced Print Finisher to join a busy print company based in Dagenham on behalf of our client. This is a one-month temporary position providing holiday cover.

The successful candidate will have proven experience working in a fast-paced, high-quality print finishing environment with quick turnaround times. You must be experienced in digital print finishing and be fully competent with lamination and guillotining, with a strong focus on producing accurate, high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate finishing equipment in a busy print environment
• Work with digital print finishing, including: Lamination and Guillotining (Polar or similar)
• Undertake support tasks as required by the department Manager
• Maintain a tidy work area ensuring that the work area is kept in a clean and orderly manner
• Maintain high-quality standards while working to tight deadlines.
• Understand and adhere to the company policies and procedures with particular emphasis on quality and health and safety

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Must have experience with laminators
• Must have experience to set, operate, and maintain polar guillotines or similar
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and committed.
• Good communication skills
• Understanding of health and safety in a print production environment
• Must have: Hi-vis vest, Safety shoes
