With over 90 years of experience, our client delivers high-quality lithographic printing, digital printing, print finishing, mailing and fulfilment services to businesses, educational establishments, local government and organisations throughout the UK.

They’re seeking an enthusiastic Print Production Operative to join their busy production team. Whether your experience is primarily in lithographic print finishing or digital printing, they’ll provide training to develop your skills across both areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with modern print equipment, takes pride in producing quality work and wants to broaden their knowledge within commercial print.

The Role

As a Print Production Operative, you will work as part of a busy production team, producing high-quality printed products while developing your skills across lithographic finishing and digital print operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Producing high-quality lithographic and digitally printed products
  • Setting up and operating production equipment
  • Carrying out print finishing operations
  • Monitoring quality throughout production
  • Preparing work for dispatch
  • Maintaining production records where required
  • Assisting colleagues across production departments
  • Ensuring customer deadlines are consistently achieved
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience in either commercial print finishing or digital print production
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work accurately under pressure
  • Good organisational skills
  • Positive and flexible attitude
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable working as part of a production team
  • Good understanding of quality standards
  • Willingness to learn new equipment and processes

Desirable

  • Experience operating finishing equipment such as guillotines, folders, stitchers, laminators or PUR binders
  • Experience operating digital presses
  • Previous experience within a commercial print environment
  • Basic computer skills
