Print Production Operative

About you

You already have some experience within large format print, signage, display graphics or a similar production environment and you enjoy being hands on.

You do not need to know every machine in the building. What matters is that you understand print production, you are comfortable in a busy environment and you are the sort of person who gets stuck in wherever the workload needs you.

If you have experience across a few areas such as printing, cutting, laminating, finishing or prepress, you will be well suited to this role.

Your experience

You understand what good print production looks like from getting artwork ready through to printing, cutting and finishing the completed job.

Experience with Zünd cutting equipment, SwissQprint printers, Caldera, laminating, finishing or prepress would all be useful, though you do not need to have worked with every one of them.

A background in signage, POS, retail graphics, exhibition graphics or large format print would translate well.

What you will be doing with your experience in this role

You will join an established production team and help keep work moving across the print department.

Your day could involve large format digital printing, Zünd cutting, laminating, finishing, prepress checks or preparing files for production.

This is not a role built around one machine. They want someone with a good general print production background who can become useful across several parts of the department and continue developing their skills.

About the business

You would be joining an established signage and graphics manufacturer in Greater Manchester producing work for recognisable national brands.

Design, print, manufacturing and installation are all handled internally, so you will be working in a proper production environment with modern equipment and plenty of variety.
