Print / Signage - Production Or Installation Role

M TWO Search Ltd

About you

You already work somewhere within large format print, signage or graphics and you’re good at what you do.

You could be a large format print operator who enjoys being in production, a sign maker who likes getting hands-on with different materials and finishing work, or an installer who would rather be out fitting the finished job.

You don’t need to do all three.

This is a growth hire and the business is keeping an open mind about who they bring in. They’d rather find a good person from the industry and shape the role around what they’re strongest at than expect someone to do absolutely everything.

Your experience

You’ll have experience somewhere within large format print, signage or graphics.

If you’re coming from large format print production, you could be operating roll-to-roll or flatbed printers, working with RIP software, loading different materials and making sure the finished print looks right.

If you’re more on the signage production side, you might be comfortable with vinyl, laminating, mounting, cutting, routing, finishing, fabrication or assembling different types of signage.

And if you’re an installer, your experience could include fitting internal and external signage, vinyl and window graphics, vehicle graphics, panels, fascias, built-up letters or similar.

If you can comfortably move between a couple of those areas, great, but it isn’t essential.

What you’ll be doing with your experience

The role can genuinely be shaped around where your experience sits.

For a large format print person, it could predominantly be a production role working across a varied mix of printed graphics and signage.

For a sign maker, it could focus much more heavily on producing, finishing and assembling signage.

For an installer, there’s plenty of opportunity to get out on site and concentrate on the fitting side.

And if you enjoy a bit of everything, there’s scope for that too.

The important thing is that you’re joining as another experienced pair of hands within a growing team. You’re not going to be pushed into doing a completely different job just because the business works across several areas.

About the business

You’ll be joining an established Norwich business working across large format print, signage and graphics.

They’ve invested heavily in their production capabilities and expanded the operation as the business has grown, so there’s a good range of equipment and plenty of variety in the work going through the building.

This is an additional hire rather than a replacement, and they’re deliberately flexible about exactly where the right person fits into the team.
