Private Client Solicitor

Swansea | NQ-5 PQE | Full-time or Part-time | Hybrid Working

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded regional law firm in Swansea, as part of a growing team of seven Private Client specialists.

This is a firm that is genuinely investing in its Private Client offering, with significant investment being made into the department, its people and its future growth. If you're looking for somewhere you can build a long-term career rather than simply move into another role, this could be an excellent opportunity.

The Opportunity

You'll join an established and supportive Private Client team handling a varied caseload and working alongside experienced colleagues. The firm has a real focus on career progression and professional development, with clear opportunities to take on greater responsibility as your experience develops.

The team has a great atmosphere, with a collaborative and friendly culture where people genuinely enjoy working together. You'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced practitioners while developing your own client base and expertise.

The role would suit a newly qualified solicitor through to around 5 years' PQE, although solicitors at all levels are encouraged to apply where there is a strong Private Client background.

Part-time applications will also be considered.

What You'll Be Doing

Depending on your level of experience, you'll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of Private Client matters, including:

  • Wills and estate planning

  • Probate and estate administration

  • Trusts

  • Lasting Powers of Attorney

  • Inheritance Tax and succession planning

  • Advising private individuals and families

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

  • Developing your technical knowledge and taking on increasing responsibility

What We're Looking For

We're interested in hearing from Private Client Solicitors who are:

  • Newly Qualified through to approximately 5 years' PQE, although all levels will be considered

  • Experienced in Private Client work

  • Client-focused with excellent communication skills

  • Commercially aware and keen to develop their career

  • Looking for a supportive environment with genuine progression opportunities

Why Join?

  • Established team of seven Private Client specialists

  • Huge investment in the Private Client department

  • Genuine focus on promotion and career development

  • Regional, multi-office law firm

  • Excellent team atmosphere and supportive culture

  • Hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

  • Full-time and part-time options available

  • Opportunity to develop your career within a growing and ambitious team

  • Excellent long-term prospects

If you're a Private Client Solicitor looking for a firm that will invest in you, support your development and give you genuine opportunities to progress, I'd be very keen to hear from you. Contact Daniel Mason at our head offices
