Private Family Solicitor in Bolton, Greater Manchester

An established law firm in Bolton is looking for an experienced Private Family Solicitor to join its busy Family Department.
The successful candidate will manage a mixed caseload of private family matters, including divorce and finance, children and domestic abuse cases.

The role will involve attending courts and other offices, so a full driving licence and access to a car for work purposes are essential.

The Role

• Manage your own caseload of private family matters
• Handle a mixture of Legal Aid and privately funded family work
• Deal with divorce, financial matters, children and domestic abuse cases
• Use CCMS and demonstrate a sound understanding of Legal Aid criteria
• Conduct your own advocacy where appropriate
• Attend court and other offices as required
• Work effectively as part of a supportive and friendly team

About You

• Experience in private family law
• Strong organisational and case management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good IT skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional and approachable manner
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
