Private Sector Housing Officer

​​​​​​A client I am currently working with is looking for a contractor to join their busy HMO licensing and compliance team in the East Midlands. 

The Role:

• HMO inspections and licensing compliance checks
• HHSRS assessments
• Strong knowledge of the Housing Act 2004 Part 1 and 2
• Identifying hazards and breaches
• Working with landlords to achieve compliance
• Initial inspection report writing

Requirements:

• Strong HMO and Private Sector Housing experience
• Practical HHSRS knowledge
• Ability to work independently
• Housing or Environmental Health qualification desirable
  (EHRB registration not required)

Working Arrangements:

• 15-21 Hours per week
• Minimum 1-2 day on-site for inspections depending on agreed working hours.
• Hybrid working available
