Private Wealth & Succession Legal Secretary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a friendly and supportive Private Wealth & Succession team.

The team advises individuals, families, trustees, business owners and executors across a varied range of matters, including wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, trusts and estate administration. The work is interesting and varied, with a strong focus on providing clients with a professional, practical and reassuring service.

You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a team of lawyers, helping to manage a busy caseload.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and managing legal documents and correspondence

• Supporting monthly billing and credit management processes

• Producing financial information when required

• Maintaining accurate records using case management systems

• Providing day-to-day support to lawyers and clients

• Managing a busy workload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

• Previous legal secretarial experience is essential

• Strong document management and administration skills

• Experience using legal case management systems; P4W experience would be advantageous

• Private Client experience is desirable, although experience within Family or a similar area of law will also be considered

• Highly organised, proactive and able to prioritise effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Professional, empathetic and confident when dealing with clients

• Able to work accurately in a busy environment
