Process Engineer

Futures Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business seeking a proactive and driven Process Engineer to support the optimisation of production processes and drive continuous improvement across its manufacturing operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Process Engineer who enjoys problem-solving, improving efficiency, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Optimise manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Analyse production performance, identify root causes of issues, and implement effective corrective actions using Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
• Support production planning by maintaining accurate ERP/MRP data, creating production routings, and ensuring technical documentation is up to date.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to deliver process improvements while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Process Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
