We are seeking an experienced Process Technologist to join a dynamic manufacturing business dedicated to upscaling new products, optimising existing processes, and leading factory trials. You will be instrumental in identifying challenges and delivering pragmatic, effective solutions.

What you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the scale-up of new products and processes from development through to full production
- Defining key process parameters and proactively identifying risks during production trials
- Investigating yield, run-rate, quality, and downtime issues through data analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies
- Collaborating closely with Development, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to understand formulation and equipment constraints
- Evaluating whether existing equipment and methods effectively support scaled production demands
- Providing technical expertise to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining a steadfast focus on quality, compliance, and safety when addressing production challenges
- Communicating clearly and effectively across teams to ensure alignment on priorities and risks
What you’ll bring:
- A degree in Food Science or a related scientific or technical discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Confidence in working cross-functionally and managing your own workload autonomously
- A practical, hands-on approach with meticulous attention to quality and compliance standards
Desirable:
- Experience within FMCG manufacturing
- A background in process scale-up, industrialisation, or optimisation
- Demonstrable use of data to enhance yield, improve run-rate, or reduce downtime
- Active involvement in production trials, continuous improvement projects, or equipment assessments
