Are you a dynamic Procurement Manager looking to make a meaningful impact? Main Purpose of the Role:
As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the procurement of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation's success while managing procurement sustainability, risk, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Procurement Governance

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with business objectives and legal standards.
  • Centralise procurement activities, including contracts, supplier negotiations, and renewals.
  • Optimise workflows through e-procurement tools and automation improvements.

Category Management & Sourcing

  • Manage indirect procurement for operational goods and services.
  • Conduct market research to identify and strategically source suppliers that deliver best value and quality.
  • Run tenders, evaluate bids, and recommend optimal suppliers based on commercial assessments.

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal service levels.
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure favourable terms and pricing.
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and ensure effective delivery of services.

Operational Procurement Oversight

  • Oversee the procure-to-pay (P2P) cycle: requisitioning, purchasing, and invoicing.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in purchase requisitions and orders aligned with budgetary guidelines.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance procurement performance and cost-effectiveness.

Financial & Data Management

  • Conduct spend analysis and track procurement KPIs to meet company objectives.
  • Prepare insightful reports and presentations for the Board and Leadership Team.

Continuous Improvement & Market Awareness

    • Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost savings and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

      • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or a related field (CIPS qualification preferred).
      • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in healthcare or medical device procurement.
      • Familiarity with regulated industries (ISO 13485, 9001, etc.) is preferred.

Skills & Attributes:

      • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
      • Excellent financial acumen and attention to detail.
      • Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
      • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Technical Skills:

      • Proficiency in SAP purchasing and Microsoft Office Suite.
