Job Title: Procurement Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Location: Sheffield (Office based)
We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager to lead our client's Purchasing, Material, and Subcontract Supply teams. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading innovative advanced manufacturing organisation with a fantastic company culture!
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead with Vision: Set the direction for the Procurement department, aligning it with strategic goals and championing a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage with Excellence: Oversee the Supply Chain Team, ensuring effective and ethical people management, performance appraisals, and development plans.
- Build Strong Relationships: Cultivate robust partnerships with suppliers, ensuring excellent service and quality standards are delivered.
- Drive Results: Organise, plan, and allocate work efficiently to meet targets and deadlines while managing KPIs and presenting solutions to challenges.
- Foster Innovation: Collaborate with production and commercial teams to maximise productivity and embed best practices across all processes.
Person Specification:
- Proven track record in supply chain and purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage people effectively, coupled with high emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills.
- High-level analytical and problem-solving capabilities to drive data-informed decisions.
- CIPS qualification is desirable
This is a full time, permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)
