Construction Procurement Manager
Location: Slough (supporting projects across London and the Midlands)
Salary: Competitive + Company Car + Benefits
Poolhall Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Construction Procurement Manager to join a specialist contractor delivering complex structural steel and construction projects across the UK and Europe.
This is a key role responsible for managing procurement, supply chain coordination, subcontractor engagement, and logistics to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead supplier and subcontractor procurement from tender through to contract award.
- Manage supply chain activities across multiple live projects.
- Coordinate transport, deliveries, logistics, and customs requirements.
- Review technical specifications, materials, and quality standards.
- Liaise with project, commercial, and site teams to support successful project delivery.
- Check measurements, valuations, and invoices against project requirements.
- Obtain and manage quotations for variations and additional works.
About You
- Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in construction procurement, pre-construction, supply chain, or commercial management.
- Strong understanding of structural steel, manufacturing, modular, or construction environments.
- Excellent negotiation, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
- German language skills are advantageous but not essential.
