Procurement Manager

£50,000 - £60,000 + Car Allowance

You'll take ownership of procurement strategy across the wider M&S Group, leading a procurement team, driving commercial performance, and ensuring the business gets the very best value, service, and partnerships from its supply chain. As Procurement Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and developing the procurement function while supporting multiple businesses across the group. You'll oversee tender processes, supplier negotiations, and strategic purchasing decisions, ensuring operational excellence and commercial value throughout.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and developing the procurement team
• Overseeing procurement activities across the wider M&S Group
• Leading tendering and supplier selection processes
• Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships
• Negotiating contracts and securing best-value agreements
• Ensuring suppliers deliver outstanding service, quality, and reliability
• Driving continuous improvement across procurement processes and performance

• Proven procurement experience within a Main Contractor environment is essential
• Strong technical understanding of procurement processes and supply chains
• Experienced in managing supplier relationships and commercial negotiations
• Confident leading teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels
• A collaborative leader who will fit into a close-knit and ambitious culture
• Additional industry experience is welcomed, but a Main Contractor background is a must

This role can be based from Warrington, Glasgow, or Whitstable, with travel between offices required. Hybrid working is available, offering flexibility alongside collaboration with the wider business.
