The Procurement Officer will play a key role in managing procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective and efficient supply chain operations. This role is based in Loughborough within the not-for-profit sector and requires a focused and organised individual to support the organisation's goals.

Description
- Manage requests for quotations, direct awards from compliant frameworks and other routine procurement exercises from initiation through to recommendation and mobilisation.
- Support the delivery of formal tenders and more complex procurement projects.
- Advise colleagues on appropriate procurement routes and the use of compliant frameworks.
- Coordinate tender clarifications, evaluations and moderation activities, maintaining accurate records and audit trails.
- Draft procurement documentation, award letters, contract variations and procurement reports using approved templates.
- Prepare first drafts of contracts and associated documentation for review where required.
Profile
- Experience or exposure to end-to-end procurement processes in a public sector or not for profit setting.
- Strong knowledge of procurement policies and procedures (PCR2015/PA23)
- Experience and confidence engaging with Stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills to manage supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in relevant procurement and supply chain software.
- A commitment to ethical procurement practices.
Job Offer
- Salary £36,363
- Hybrid working (1 day per week onsite in Loughborough office)
- 31 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Rising to 35 days with service
