Procurement & Supply Chain Manager at Scruffy Dog Creative, Minworth

Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team, responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationships that keep our projects running efficiently and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets
• Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors
• Ensure materials and services are procured at competitive rates without compromising quality
• Manage supplier relationships, resolving any issues around delivery, quality, or cost
• Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks
• Work closely with project managers, site teams, and finance to align procurement with project needs
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, sustainability, and company procurement policies
• Maintain accurate procurement records, budgets, and reporting

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager within the construction industry
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Solid understanding of construction materials, subcontractor management, and project procurement cycles
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• CIPS qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Proficient in procurement/ERP software and Microsoft Excel
