Description

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop end-to-end product costing methodology across a diverse product range
• Build bottom-up cost models aligned to real manufacturing processes
• Translate BOMs, routings and production data into structured costing outputs
• Analyse actual vs estimated costs and drive continuous improvement
• Support project bids - ensuring pricing is technically robust and commercially sound
• Lead development of digital / configurable costing tools and data structures
• Lead and develop a costing / estimating team
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, commercial and finance

Profile

Ideal Candidate

• Background in manufacturing, engineering, estimating or technical costing (key requirement)
• Strong understanding of how products are built and costed
• Experience working with BOMs, routings and manufacturing data flows
• Comfortable working with ERP / SAP systems and large datasets
• Able to bridge the gap between engineering detail and commercial outputs
• Proven leadership or desire to step into a leadership role
