They are seeking an experienced Product Systems Design Engineering Product Specialist to lead the design, integration and validation of electronic hardware systems across a range of advanced products.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, influencing design decisions and collaborating across multiple disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead component and subsystem design concept development and optimisation.
- Design and integrate electronic hardware including sensors, control units, harnesses, panels and support structures.
- Deliver detailed design reviews and communicate design intent to cross-functional teams.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into robust, verifiable engineering solutions.
- Apply engineering principles to improve performance, reliability, manufacturability and serviceability.
- Lead design validation activities including risk assessments and engineering analysis.
- Support product issue resolution through structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance within project teams.
- Collaborate with colleagues across engineering, manufacturing, quality and programme management functions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Significant experience at Senior or Lead Engineer level.
- Strong mechanical design and systems integration experience.
- Proven track record of technical problem solving and sound engineering judgement.
- Experience with CAD modelling and engineering analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Creo is preferred.
- Experience with Creo Cabling, Windchill and MS Project would be advantageous.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and project leadership skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and work effectively within complex engineering environments.
