Role: Product Support Sales Representative

Do you know heavy plant equipment and enjoy building strong customer relationships? Join McHale Komatsu as a Product Support Sales Representative and help customers get the best from their machines.

You’ll develop parts and service sales across your territory, combining product knowledge with a practical understanding of customers’ operations. From regular site visits to machine inspections, you’ll identify opportunities, recommend solutions and build lasting relationships.

The role

Working closely with our depot, parts and service teams, you will:

• Build and maintain customer relationships through regular, planned visits across your territory.
• Identify and develop opportunities to grow parts and service sales.
• Carry out machine inspections, providing customers with reports, repair recommendations and purchasing forecasts.
• Share customer feedback and market insight to help shape our offering and maintain competitive pricing.
• Keep CRM records up to date, recording customer visits, sales leads and opportunities.
• Work with colleagues to resolve customer queries and support product promotions, campaigns and shows.

About you

You’ll bring experience in a similar role, a track record of sales success and sound knowledge of heavy plant equipment. You’ll be confident talking to customers, understanding their requirements and developing relationships through reliable advice and service.

You’ll also have:

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• A self-motivated, organised approach, with the flexibility to manage changing priorities.
• The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook and Excel.

Experience using a CRM system and relevant sales training would be advantageous.
