Location: Stockport
Salary: £competitive
Hours: 8.00 – 4.30: Mon – Thurs, Friday is a 3.30pm finish
Permanent | Full-time

Elevation Recruitment Group is looking for an organised and detail-focused Production Administrator to join a busy production team. This is a varied role supporting the manufacturing process, from creating job card routings and allocating work through to ensuring materials, documentation and production schedules are all in place.

The Role

• Create route cards to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing.
• Prepare and issue shop floor documentation and work-to-lists.
• Liaise with Stores and Goods Inwards to ensure materials and kits are available.
• Manage rework operations and update route sheets where required.
• Attend pre-production meetings and help identify the most effective manufacturing methods.
• Support the Production Scheduler with loading work centres.
• Assist the Sales team with accurate cost and lead-time information.
• Work closely with production and programming teams to keep jobs moving.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident working to tight deadlines and schedules.
• A strong communicator and team player.
• Proactive, positive and able to work independently.
• Comfortable making decisions and solving problems.
• IT proficient, ideally with experience using an ERP/MRP system.
• Experienced in manufacturing, production planning or CNC environments is desirable but not essential.

Experience of scheduling CNC machining operations and outside services would be advantageous. You’ll report directly to the Production Planning Lead and will play an important role in ensuring production runs efficiently and documentation is accurate and delivered on time.
