Production Engineer

CareerMakers Recruitment currently looking for Production Engineers to join our client based in Accrington, BB5 area.

Duties:

• Support production with technical issues and problem solving.
• Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Create and update work instructions and production documentation.
• Assist with the introduction of new products into production.
• Investigate production faults and help implement corrective actions.
• Work with Production, Quality, and Design teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Ensure products meet customer, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Help improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with company health and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate engineering and production records.
• Assist with engineering changes and updates to manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to production staff.

Skills and experience:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Organised and able to manage workload effectively.

Working hours :

Monday - Thursday: 7.45am - 4.15pm

Friday: 7:45am - 1:45pm

Pay rate :DOE
