We are recruiting for an established engineering and manufacturing company specialising in high-quality, bespoke products. The business focuses on innovation, quality and continuous improvement.
We are looking for a hands-on Production Engineer to improve manufacturing processes, resolve technical issues and drive efficiency across the production site.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve manufacturing processes and production workflows.
- Reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Investigate technical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support new product and process introductions.
- Monitor production performance and identify improvements.
- Work closely with engineering, production and quality teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and work instructions.
- Support quality standards, audits and continuous improvement.
About You
- Experience in Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineering.
- Background in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Lean, 5S, Kaizen or similar improvement methods.
- Understanding of quality control and root cause analysis.
- A proactive, hands-on approach.
- An engineering qualification is desirable, but practical experience will also be considered.
