You'll be the Production Engineer who owns how automation and process improvement take shape on the shop floor. As a Production Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Identify, design and implement automation solutions across the production line
- Lead automation and process improvement projects from concept through to implementation
- Review existing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for standardisation and waste reduction
- Support new product introduction, ensuring processes are optimised ahead of full scale production
- Investigate and resolve production issues, applying root cause analysis techniques
- Work with production, quality and engineering teams to embed a continuous improvement culture
As a Production Engineer, your experience will include:
- Proven, hands-on experience of automation within a manufacturing environment
- A relevant engineering degree, with a solid grounding in process improvement
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen methodologies
- Experience within electronics manufacturing is desirable but not essential
- Confidence working across the shop floor and influencing how processes are run
- A proactive, independent approach to problem solving
