You'll be the Production Engineer who owns how automation and process improvement take shape on the shop floor. Every process you review is a genuine opportunity to apply proper rigour, not just tick a box. • Company bonus scheme
  • Health insurance following probation
  • Pension scheme

As a Production Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify, design and implement automation solutions across the production line
  • Lead automation and process improvement projects from concept through to implementation
  • Review existing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for standardisation and waste reduction
  • Support new product introduction, ensuring processes are optimised ahead of full scale production
  • Investigate and resolve production issues, applying root cause analysis techniques
  • Work with production, quality and engineering teams to embed a continuous improvement culture

As a Production Engineer, your experience will include:

  • Proven, hands-on experience of automation within a manufacturing environment
  • A relevant engineering degree, with a solid grounding in process improvement
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen methodologies
  • Experience within electronics manufacturing is desirable but not essential
  • Confidence working across the shop floor and influencing how processes are run
  • A proactive, independent approach to problem solving
