Production Engineer

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum | Monday to Thursday | 4-Day Working Week

We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to join a busy manufacturing operation.

This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of production and engineering issues, identify root causes and implement practical solutions. You’ll play a key part in improving manufacturing processes, efficiency and overall production performance.

Daily Duties of the Production Engineer

• Take ownership of engineering problems from initial investigation through to solution.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to production teams.
• Investigate and resolve recurring production and manufacturing issues.
• Develop and improve work instructions, processes and manufacturing documentation.
• Support improvements to tooling, jigs and fixtures.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, NPI and Supply Chain teams.

Skills Needed for the Production Engineer

• Previous experience as a Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or Process Engineer.
• Strong manufacturing and production experience.
• Experience using CAD and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of tooling, jigs, fixtures and manufacturing processes.
• Confident working directly with production teams to identify and resolve issues.

Salary and Benefits

• £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
• 4-day working week.
• Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 5:15pm.
